Evaluation of other expert reports
The evaluation of other expert reports is an important aspect that should be considered by all lawyers whether dealing with criminal or civil matters.
It should not be assumed that any expert report is correct, in particular it is easy for an expert to omit to consider alternative hypotheses.
I have extensive experience of reading and checking Police and other expert reports and am able to comment on all, or just one aspect of, the report.
I understand the procedures that should be adopted by Police at the scene of an accident. I know what detail should be recorded and what sort of tests ought to be undertaken. I am very familiar with the methods used by Police to investigate and reconstruct accidents and other incidents involving the movement of vehicles.
Note:- For contractual reasons I am not able to deal with criminal cases that originate in the Metropolitan Police area.
